For some reason, I have long been an achievement hunter in video games. The fact that this carried over to FFXIV is terrible for me.

This is one of the big reasons Reis isn't my main anymore: I wanted to focus in on achievements with a big time commitment, and it was no longer feasible to do it on two characters. While I had managed to place top 12 in the Ishgardian Restoration events during Shadowbringers on both characters, that was the kind of activity that only took a week. Mentor roulette — that is, completing 2,000 duties via a special matching system for mentors — was not feasible to do on both.

So Reis became my alt, and Cálei my main. Up until that point I really had tried to keep parity, but some things are just too onerous to do multiple times. (I'm looking at you, Shadowbringers relics one-time-steps.) There is some stuff I still do on Reis anyway, but the actual goal of achievement hunting? Not so much.

That said, Reis has a respectable collection. I haven't checked off everything she has (since she's not my main), but some things I'd like to highlight:

• I did the 100-per-job expert craft achievements for round 2 of the Ishgard Restoration on Reis when it was current. Even then I was questioning why I wasn't doing it on Cálei...
• She has a completed, maxed out Island Sanctuary, with all collectables attained. I blame the untradable glamour.
  • Speaking generally, my motivation to do side content on multiple characters is entirely based on what glamour it has. If the glamour is really good, then yeah, I'll go through the grind again. Thankfully I don't really consider weapons to be part of this, although I may do the Bozja RDM relic on her one day and finish my Eureka one.
• I've completed all 12 routes of each EW variant dungeon on her, mostly because I had a friend to do them with.
• I completed my first ARR relic before I was max level and caught up with the story. Not only that, Reis has three ARR relics completed, is past the book step on the fourth, and is halfway through the book step on the fifth. I have no idea if I'll come back to finish them though; they were all done before I swapped mains.
  • For the record, the ARR relics she has are SMN, WHM, DRG, PLD past books, WAR on books. SMN was my first job so of course I did the relic, but WHM and DRG were because I couldn't live without the glamour. Sometimes that's how it goes.
• Unless a new one recently came out, every single one of her allied society quests is done. Same with custom deliveries: she has all achievements for it. It helps that I've been at this a long time.

These days, my motivation is mostly glamour. The nice thing about having a main and an alt of different genders is that I can make totally different looks on them. Some pieces that look good on one look terrible on the other, and vice versa. I have a very big spreadsheet of all the glam pieces I want, so it's just a matter of getting them all. (We will not talk about how much Eureka Anemos I need to do for job-specific pieces...)

I have completed the vast majority of side content on Reis; the only notable omissions are Eureka (I left off in Pyros) and Bozja (need to unlock Zadnor). Other than that, I've got jobs to level, so I suppose I should get on that.
